Beautiful City of Nepal/ Pokhara
Pokhara lie at the centre of Nepal. It is surrounded by mountains from its all four side. It is the second largest city and valley of Nepal. It lies at an altitude of 827 meter above sea-level. The physical structure of Pokhara is different from the different cities of Nepal. The scenes of mountains, trees etc. are beautiful and pleasant. And, these beauties are exciting and thirriling one.

Since, Nepal is a country with multi-culture, multi-religion and multi-lingual there are various religious sites and believes. The top five(5) religious places are;
1.Lumbini

Lumbini, known as the birth place of lord Gautam Buddha is a very popular religious site of Nepal. The natural and artificial beauty of Lumbini is mind blowing. It was identified by King Ashoka in 249 B.C.E. From then, it is popular. And finally, it was enlisted in World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1997 A.D. Lumbini broadly covers an area of 256 sq.km. There are a lots of Buddha Bihar, Gumba, Stupa, Monastery etc. These temples, monasteries, gumbas etc. are build in unique style and in shape. Such art represents the masterpiece art and glory of Lumbini. Mayadevi Temple is the main temple which is considered as the birth place of lord Gautam Buddha. And, Shanti Diya of Lumbini represents peace and love. Monk used to live in monasteries and they mediate for hours. Thanka is very popular in Lumbini.

2. Janakpur

Janakpur is a Hindu Religious Maithlian historical place located at the eastern part of Nepal. Janakpur is considered as the place where Goddesses Sita was born. So, popularly known as Janki Mandir. Janki Mandir extend in an area of 1480 sq. meter. It is also known as Nau lakha Mandir as it approximately costs Nine lakhs to build. The Queen of Tikamgarh, India named Vrisha Bhanu build it. The entire Mandir was build up of marbles and stones in Mughal and Hindu architecture. Ram Mandir, Ganga Sagar, Vivaha Mandap etc.were also build. The water of Ganga Sagar was brought from Ganga river, India. The water looks magical at night time. There are a lots of idol of God Ram and Goddesses Sita. Mainly at Panchami tithi, Margashirsha, Shukla paksha on December 1 a million number of people visit Janakpur.
3. Muktinath

MUktinath is located in the Himalayan region of Nepal at an altitude of 3710 meter above sea-level . The temple is small. The Murti is of God Vishnu and is of gold and the size of man. Both Hindu and Buddhist come to visit this temple. There are 108 bull faces through which water is poured where devote take their scared bath. Hindu people belives it as Multi Kshetra, which means 'place of liberation'. In the past it was known as Sri Vaishnava. This temple is famous for Shaligram Shilla as the nearby Gandaki river brought so much.
Muktinath temple is so beautiful. Millions of tourist come to visit this temple.
4. Mankamna

Mankamna is known for its special fulfilling power all over the world. The one who wishes sth. then their wishes is fulfilled so it is named as Mankamna. Mana means heart and Kamana means wishes. It is located at the roof of mountain. The idol of God Shiva and other God and Goddesses are worshiped there. Since, it located on the roof of mountain it looks like heaven. Nobody will forget the first flash of Manakamna while entering. There are so many beautiful trees, flowers etc. on its way. The forest of Orange also lies there. Cable car goes from Kurintar. People go Manakamna through cable car and other means of transportation such as car, jeep, bus etc.
5. Pashupatinath

Pashupatinath temple is the most scared religious site of Hindu people. The idol of Lord Shiva is located in the temple. The temple is build in Nepalese Pagoda style in which it's roof is of gold and other four door are Silver coated. There is a bull Infront of the temple. The temple is also at the bank of Bagmati river, Kathmandu district. Pashupatinath temple is enlisted in the World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1979 A.D. The temple is located six kilometer ahead from the city, Kathmandu.
